The beginning: ​

We started FotoLab as a passion project. We wanted a way to automate our Lightroom workflow, and to build a product which respected user's data and privacy at its core.

We wanted to create an AI product which our users are in control ​of. They control their data, their models, and their creativity. We want a future where creatives have tools which work for them, rather than tools which siphon off data to the cloud.

​

Now:

FotoLab is, so far as we are aware, the first commercially available software in the world which performs AI training on device, rather than the cloud. It was no small feat, but it's something we're proud of.

 

Long term, we want to change the status quo in photography software, and put photographers back in control.
